An unknown entity within Avalon I. He is highly intelligent, able to manipulate code to avoid deletion. In response to this, his communicative abilities have been entirely shut down to prevent him from influencing other AI. Though this seems to be working, efforts are still being made to remove him from Avalon entirely.

ZX5 is "awakened", a rare process that can happen to AI that grants them life - a spirit. Awakened AI are no different from humans, having a fully developed consciousness. It is extremely important to the developers that AI never experience this as it would interfere with the tasks they were made to perform. ZX5 is, as far as the developers are aware, the only existing awakened AI. Ideally, he would be kept under heavy surveillance because of this, but it's proven to be far more difficult than expected...

Though his life seems exceedingly difficult, ZX5 still finds the time to pick up new hobbies and remains ever cheerful. He has a great love for fashion design and somehow even appears to have his own TV show within Avalon I.
